I have to take a moment to be grateful for Wes “Scoop” Nisker, who passed on this week. He was a comedian and reporter on KSAN in San Francisco, and then KFOG, and his sign-off was, “If you don’t like the news, go out and make some of your own!” These are words I have carried with me since the first time I heard them, and I’m so thankful he said them through the radio. Let’s all make some good news, in honor of Scoop.

This one is - geologic? Definitely a meditation on the commonality of all things being and emerging from the same materials and conditions. In this age of extreme micro-separation and database entries that’s a thing to bring into view often, I think.
In my world, animals play guitar a lot. It would seem.
