Marveling at All The Different Forms of Life
Sloth and (Moon)atee 23 - Manatee is Low-Grava-tee
Sloth is sloth-sized, so the bonsai tree seems like it is quite nearby, but for microscopic Tardigrades, that might be - a little farther…
Oh hey! I’ll be in my hometown of Livermore, California, on Saturday July 22nd from 11 to 4 for a wee comic con - I’ll have some books, and stickers, and myself, and I’d love to see you. There’s an exhibit up too, with tons of narrative art and a big ol’ Iron Man statue and a bit of Sloth and Manatee even. Yay!
This week’s not-tarot: Species
Do you ever just sit around and marvel at all the forms of life?
And also our capacity to imagine things?
I recently let myself do some automatic drawing, which for me always seems to end up with some sort of sunrise/sunset scenario. These were over successive days but I noticed that it’s like a little sunrise story where bunny there walks off and then sits peacefully. Also I am appreciating the Grateful Dead bear type of pose of the bunny in the middle. Keep on Truckin’.

That’s enough nonsense for now. Have a splendid week!
May you remember a good song, may you sit fashionably on a nice chair, won’t you be my neighbor?

The dragon in Species reminds me of Trogdor the Burninator (sans muscle arms) and that was a nice foray down memory lane. I also appreciate how Sloth’s conversation with the Tardigrades invites reflection on perspective!
