Okay so some kids threw tomato soup on a Van Gogh painting - I applaud the guts it took to do that (though I'd argue culture is actually what we're fighting for, so...) - I would suggest next time, dump crude oil all over the floor of a bank or museum to say, wade through this to get to your money - or something like that. Or maybe toss crude oil all over a bunch of supermarkets since a whole lot of it goes into those products too. I dunno. I'm rooting for the youth, I'd just like to see stunts that force people face to face with a fact or two - maybe. Just a thought. I say this as I sit here typing on a machine that uses oil and metals and electricity to function.
Speaking of protests, my friend Mike is putting out the second edition of his book Design Is A Job (preorders October 19), and he got the F*ck Around And Find Out guy to do a promo for it. It's awesome. You can see it here. It's worth it.
