Two Brand-New Books!

Special message this week, there are TWO new books in the world! Both show delivery dates before Christmas, if that's your thing. Lovely gifts for yourself/someone you like/someone you haven't seen in a while/anybody! I'll be getting some sign-able copies in my shop here pretty quick too, I'll let you know when they land there!

1. My friend and I accidentally wrote a children's book for grownups - it's called Sofa Stories, because it started as me drawing characters sitting on vintage furniture. Then Mike started adding melancholy, mult-layered, tiny stories, and things just went from there. And here we are! There are some samples in my Instagram here, and here. And here.

Finally I had great fun today at Chapter 510 in Oakland at the Brave Books festival, in which ten books written by young authors were released and they were there signing and exchanging copies and doing readings. I got to work with Danielle, who wrote a lovely story called Dunkin's Bravery and did a lot of signing. There's her book on the shelf!
